An ERP or accounting system does not always cover employee requests, document approvals, asset handovers and other internal processes. As a result, some of the client's day-to-day operations remain in email threads, spreadsheets and separate files, even though the core business systems are already in place. For systems integrators, this is an opportunity to enhance their offering with a solution that connects these processes and transfers the required data to other systems.
The PDVS partnership for integrators is intended for companies that implement ERP, accounting, payroll, electronic signature, time tracking, access control or analytics solutions. Partners are provided with technical integration tools, a demonstration environment and a structured path to the first joint client.
When some processes remain outside the core system
ERP and accounting systems generally manage a clearly defined part of operations, but employee service and internal administration processes often take place elsewhere. An employee submits a request by email, a manager approves it by replying to the email, and the final information is manually transferred to the accounting or payroll system. Later, it becomes necessary to establish who made the decision and which version of the document is valid.
PDVS can fill this gap: employee data, requests, approvals, employment documents, procurement, assets, performance appraisals, working time and attendance are managed on a single platform. Integration makes it possible to retain the specialised systems already in use and define which data must be transferred between them.
Integration partnership areas
A joint solution can be tailored to the integrator's expertise and the specific client's infrastructure. The main partnership areas are:
- ERP and accounting – exchange of employee, organisational structure, procurement or other agreed data.
- Electronic signatures – linking the signing processes for employment and other documents with the signature solutions in use.
- Payroll systems – transfer of HR and working time data for payroll processing.
- BI solutions – use of PDVS data in the client's reporting and analytics.
- Time tracking and access control systems – linking attendance, schedules, time worked and access data.
PDVS already integrates with systems such as Microsoft 365, Dokobit, Vikarina, Rivilė, BioStar 2 and Worksober. Tools are also available for creating interfaces with client or partner systems.
Technical tools for building integrations
Integrators are offered several interface options, allowing the data exchange method to be selected according to the client's technology environment:
- REST API is intended for direct data exchange with other systems.
- Webhooks enable information to be sent to another system when an agreed action occurs.
- SSO/OIDC is intended to link user sign-in with the organisation's identity management environment.
- SFTP/CSV is suitable for file-based data exchange when direct API integration is unnecessary or unavailable.
- Sandbox environment provides a place to test integration scenarios before working in the client's environment.
The technical model is selected by assessing which system stores the source data, when it must be transferred and which system is responsible for a specific process. This defines the responsibilities of PDVS, the integrator and the client in advance.
The path from initial discussion to the first joint client
The partnership begins with a 45-minute introductory call. It covers the integrator's specialisation, client segment, technologies used and potential joint solution scenarios.
If the proposed area of cooperation is suitable, a demonstration environment is provided within 3 days. The partner can explore PDVS processes, assess the modules and identify where interfaces with the systems they implement are required.
The next stage is the agreement and training, which takes 2–4 weeks. During the training, the partner prepares to present the solution, discuss the scope of integration and participate in the implementation process. This is followed by work with the first joint client: their processes are assessed, technical tools are selected and the work is coordinated.
If you implement ERP, accounting, payroll, electronic signature, BI, time tracking or access control systems, become a PDVS partner and let us discuss what joint solution we could offer your clients.
