Until now PDVS has been a Lithuanian product: Lithuanian employment documents, local integrations, a price list in euros and support in Lithuanian. That is not changing. But the same system – the employee record, requests and approvals, the document register, working time – is needed by companies that know nothing about Lithuania. For them we are building a separate site, getpdvs.com, and we have chosen Asia as the first market outside Lithuania.
Why a separate site rather than pdvs.lt in English
The English version of pdvs.lt is for companies operating in Lithuania whose managers or employees do not speak Lithuanian. It relies on the Lithuanian context – the Labour Code, local integrations, Lithuanian document templates. For a customer abroad that is not help, it is noise.
getpdvs.com is written from scratch for the market that will read it:
- English only – no language switch and no links to Lithuanian legislation.
- The same modules, but described without local terms: how requests and approvals work, document versions and acknowledgements, working-time records – not which article of Lithuanian law stands behind them.
- A demo request and contacts – from day one. We will publish prices for that market once they are confirmed: we will not show made-up numbers, just as on pdvs.lt.
The application stays one. New modules and fixes reach every customer in the same release, whichever site they came through.
Why Asia, and why Singapore
The first stop is Singapore. The reasons are simple:
- English is the language of business and administration. The English PDVS interface works there without further translation.
- It is the hub of the region. From Singapore the whole of South-East Asia is within reach – Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines. What proves itself in Singapore can be repeated in the neighbouring markets.
- A clear legal environment and digital business. Company registration, accounting and document flows are handled digitally, so a system that joins HR data and documents fits the usual way of working instead of breaking it.
- Personal data protection. Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) rests on the same principles as the European GDPR – purpose, scope, retention periods, access control. PDVS has been built on these principles from the start, so the requirements there are familiar to us.
- The same need. Small and medium-sized companies whose HR processes still run on e-mail and spreadsheets exist there too. PDVS was made for exactly them.
What changes for Lithuanian customers
Nothing. pdvs.lt, the price list, implementation and support in Lithuanian stay as they are. Lithuanian customers' data stays where it is now – in infrastructure run by MB GRIMM.LT or, by agreement, in the customer's own. Where data of customers abroad will be hosted, we will decide by the requirements of that market and announce separately.
What comes next
- Launching getpdvs.com – a first version with module descriptions, a demo request and contacts.
- Demos for the first interested companies in Singapore – remotely, with the real system rather than slides.
- Partners in the region. We are looking for companies that could present and implement PDVS locally.
We do not publish dates until they are real. We will announce every step here – in the news and the RSS feed – and on getpdvs.com itself. If you work with Singapore or the region and would like to offer PDVS to your customers, see the partner programme.
