- 01One conversation per pairA thread between two employees is created once and continues as a chat; an employee can write to their direct manager and HR, a manager and HR can write to any active employee.
- 02BroadcastsA manager writes to all their subordinates, HR to all employees; each recipient gets a separate thread, the sender sees “read X of Y” and who replied – replies stay private.
- 03AttachmentsPhotos (JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF) and PDF up to 10 MB, up to 5 files per message; dragging into the conversation and pasting from the clipboard; large photos get a preview and the original opens separately.
- 04Live updates and badgesNew messages and read ticks refresh without reloading, the unread count is visible in the side menu on every page, the bell notification shows the start of the message or the attachment name.
- 05Privacy by ruleAnother person's thread and its attachments return 404, not 403: their existence is not revealed even to HR or the administrator; files are stored under unguessable names, extension and content are checked on the server.
- 06After employment endsA dismissed employee can no longer be written to, the history remains; who an employee can write to is decided by the structure and role – no separate address books or hand-made groups.

The point
On the shop floor or in the warehouse some employees have no e-mail, and group chats on phones scatter. Messages in PDVS use the same structure and permissions as requests: a manager writes to their team, HR to everyone, and who has read what is visible at once.
